Fully
restored and revamped 1957 stretched Chevy Limousine.
The only
one in England as far as we know and one of only 4 left in the
entire world.
The limo was stretched by Airbrush Limousine from new,
in 1957. It was first purchased by the St Louis Cardinals Baseball
Team to ferry their team to games. I was told they purchased 2 at
the time.
The Limo
was taken out of service in 1977 and stored in a garage until we
purchased it in January 2006 from Wisconsin,USA and was
transported from Wisconsin to the port of New York some 1050 miles
over land.
Then shipped to Liverpool, UK, where it was picked up
by our main man Lee who safely delivered it to Leicester to be fully
restored and revamped. It now has an upgraded 5.4 V8 powered Chevy
engine, re-arranged and re-modelled interior with 8 passenger seats,
bar area, massive sound system.
